Granit Xhaka will be ‘happy’ to leave Arsenal in January after Unai Emery ‘betrayal’


Paul Merson reckons that Granit Xhaka will feel betrayed by Unai Emery at Arsenal.
Granit Xhaka will feel ‘betrayed’ by Arsenal boss Unai Emery after he was stripped of his captaincy according to Paul Merson.
The Spanish boss decided to name Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as the new club captain after Xhaka lashed out at jeers from the crowd against Crystal Palace last month.
The Switzerland captain is yet to feature for the club since the incident, and told Emery that he wasn’t ready to take on Leicester this weekend.
